The main focus of the Insurance Working Party is on the development of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for insurance accounting. It contributes to the work of international standard setter via input to EFRAG as well as directly to the IASB.

The Working Party also monitors and provides input to the development of the Solvency II reform through contact with the European Commission and with CEIOPS.
